Visit the Forest Library this National Library Outreach Day! 

The Library of Virginia will be visiting to share the resources they offer to the community with a series of lectures!

Noon to 1:00 PM - Genealogy 101 - Learn what resources the Library of VA has to offer to help you discover your family's roots!

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM - Digital Resources - Ways to explore the Library of VA resources from the comfort of your own home!

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Break

3:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Virginia Chronicle - Learn how to access and explore this historical archive of Virginia newspapers, providing free access to full-text searching and digitized images of over 5 million newspaper pages.

 

Registration is not required (unless you want an event reminder).  Come for one session or stay for them all!
