Just how important are bees? Come find out at the Forest Library! Master Gardener and beekeeper Jim Revell will teach us why bees are crucial for our farms and food production; discuss the structure and hierarchy of their hives; share the history of beekeeping; identify what pests, diseases, and other scourges threaten the bee population; and advise us on things to consider before adding bees to your backyard. 

 Registration is required and seats are limited. Once spots are full, be sure to put your name on the waitlist. Participants must be ages 12+.
