Dinosaur Egg Discovery

Young explorers are invited to become paleontologists for the day! In this hands-on activity, children will search the library for colorful “dinosaur eggs” hidden throughout the shelves. Each egg contains a small toy dinosaur inside, just waiting to be discovered. Once they’ve found their eggs, kids will pour vinegar on them and watch as the fizzing reaction slowly dissolves the shell to reveal the dinosaur.

This fun adventure combines a scavenger hunt, simple science, and a little prehistoric mystery. It’s a perfect way for kids to explore, problem-solve, and experience the excitement of uncovering hidden treasures.

Join us for a thrilling hunt as we Unearth a Story™—and a dinosaur!
