Event Details

The Friends of the Bedford Library are pleased to announce the addition of Caregiver Kits to the collection at the Bedford Central Library. These kits have been put together for families, friends, or individuals who provide care for people with dementia or other memory loss illnesses. They provide a variety of means to engage with the person in meaningful ways to foster memories.  


13 kits will be available to check out for a 4-week period. These kits are developed around themes such as Art and Music, travel, animals and pets, games and puzzles, Local History, etc. There is also a kit designated especially for the caregiver with resources to help them navigate the challenges in caring for memory-impaired family members or friends.
