Event Details
Young explorers are invited to become paleontologists for the day. In this hands-on activity, children will create their own colorful “dinosaur eggs” using baking soda and food coloring, with a small toy dinosaur hidden inside. Once the eggs are ready, the real discovery begins. Kids will pour vinegar on their eggs and watch the fizzing reaction slowly dissolve the shell, revealing the dinosaur inside.
This fun experiment combines creativity, simple science, and a little bit of prehistoric mystery. It’s a great way for kids to explore chemical reactions while imagining what it might be like to uncover fossils in the field.
Join us for a messy, exciting adventure as we Unearth a Story™ and a dinosaur!
Other activities will also be provided.
