The Bedford Public Library System is excited to welcome performers from Mill Mountain Theatre as they present Tomás and the Library Lady! 

Based on the beloved book by Pat Mora, adapted as a charming bilingual musical by José Cruz González, this play follows the story of Tomás Rivera, the son of an immigrant farmworker, as he discovers a surprising world of possibility inside his local library, thanks to a special librarian. This inspirational, theatrical biography proves that reading and respect can make anything possible. Audience members will receive a free book as part of Mill Mountain Theatre's initiative connecting theatre to literacy.
