Local produce at your fingertips . . . planted, produced and picked by Big Island providers!  Come and get some quick and nutritious summer meal ideas along with "pay what you can" in-season fresh vegetables. Select some recipes made available by Susan Prillaman, FCS Agent with the Virginia Cooperative Extension in Bedford.  Master Food Volunteers, Deborah Repass and Susan Terrell, will also be on hand to answer food and nutrition questions.

Come early and catch the Rainbow Puppet Show and take advantage of our summer book sale while you're at the library.  It's a busy and fun morning at the Big Island Library!
