Join us at the Moneta/SML Library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens. 

This month we will be watching Where The Crawdads Sing starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, Michael Hyatt, Sterling Macer, Jr., David Strathairn, Jojo Regina, Garret Dillahunt, and Ahna O'Reilly.

Plot: Based on the best-selling novel by Delia Owens, this mystery thriller follows Kya (Daisy Edgar-Jones), a young woman who practically raised herself within the North Carolina marshlands after being abandoned there by her mother when she was a little girl. She feels detached from the small-town community near the dangerous marshes until two men show interest in her. However, when one of them later dies, she becomes the town’s prime suspect.

Rated: PG-13 (Trigger Warning: includes sexual content and some violence including a sexual assault)
