Event Details

Meet some ambassador animals from the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center of Roanoke as part of the “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Program.  The creatures are all non-releasable native species who will share their natural history, personal stories, and conservation lessons. Find out about how the center rescues orphaned and injured animals and what you can do to help.

- This event will be outdoors (weather permitting) so please bring a blanket or chair to sit on.

- Social distancing and current mask recommendations will be observed.

- Space is limited and registration is required for each person attending (adults and kids).  Be sure to sign up everyone in your group!
