Enjoy breakfast and holiday fun with Santa at the library! Kids can eat, chat, and snap a photo with Santa before he heads back to the North Pole.

Take a break from the festivities inside the library and take a brisk winter walk through the Wharton Garden while completing our Holiday Scavenger Hunt!  

"Ring in the Season at the Library!"

This year, we're partnering with the Sedalia Center for their annual Christmas in Sedalia! Stop by anytime between 10:30 and 12:00 to participate in a community scavenger hunt and make some holiday crafts.

Hot Chocolate, Cookies, Crafts, and Christmas Magic!

Would you like to learn to knit, crochet, or share your talents with others?

Join us for a cozy family Christmas classic: The Muppet Christmas Carol! Enjoy a traditional story with the kooky Muppet cast while enjoying holiday snacks.

Join us as we relax and listen to the sounds of the season as Doves & Dragons, a local harp and harpsichord duo, perform some holiday favorites! 

Join us as we build and decorate Gingerbread Houses! Kids under 12 must come with an adult. Please register only the kids. All supplies will be provided. 

Celebrate Christmas with fun and chaos with a Gremlins movie party!

Join us as we enjoy a holiday movie with some cookie decorating and a special visit from Santa before he heads out on his Christmas Eve journey!

Come join us for a visit with Santa right before he jets off with his Reindeer for Christmas! 

Snacks and crafts will be provided.

Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 12:30 PM until 5:00 PM to play a variety of different board and card games. Feel free to bring your own games as well!
