Do you want to learn how to make sourdough?
There’s a lot of information online, and it can be so intimidating!
Join us for this upcoming workshop presented by Deborah Brubaker as she demonstrates how to make sourdough the simple way with minimal investment and a few basic skills.
Participants will learn...
- How to feed and maintain the sourdough starter.
- The process from starter to mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking your own load of artisan bread.
- The health benefits of long-fermented sourdough made with a few simple ingredients (water, flour, and salt) vs. store-bought bread.
Everyone who attends will take home a printout detailing everything from the demo. Plus, a chance to taste a finished loaf of bread.
Registration is requested.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Montvale Library.
