The Forest Library already has very successful RPG Clubs for 8-11-year-olds and for teens, but we're frequently asked if we'd be willing to hold a workshop for adults to help them get started.

Maybe you are looking to start a game with your kids and don't know where to begin, maybe you are looking for a fun way to spend an evening with friends, or maybe you've listened to one of the MANY popular actual play podcasts and want to learn more- whatever your reason, this 90 minute workshop will cover the basics of what RPGs are, how to get started, which games are right for you (or your kids), and how to get the most out of a roleplaying game experience.

The workshop will consist of an interactive presentation, a Q&A portion, and will include examples of play.
