Program Description

Event Details

Blue Ridge Fiber Gathering meets on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This event is for teens and adults.

A morning for knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers from beginners to pros. Come learn a new skill or come share your skills and talents with others—and have a good time.

Bring the projects you are currently working on and enjoy the companionship & knowledge of other fiber enthusiasts.

You can also drop off hats, sweaters scarves for the Adele's Legacy program at our meetings OR at any of our 6 locations.

Every year Adele’s Legacy works with the School Superintendent’s office in Franklin and Bedford Counties to choose elementary schools eligible for a Giveaway Day.  Eligibility is determined through a combination of how many sweaters we have to donate and which school fits with that number AND has a high number of free school lunches. The Giveaway Day alternates between Franklin and Bedford Counties each year, with the other county getting a Hat Giveaway Day.
