Creative Expressions: A Special Junk Journaling Edition

Calling all creative types! The Big Island Creative Expressions group has evolved to include makers and crafters of all sorts to further inspire our friendly discussions. This month, we're offering a special edition of Creative Expressions: Junk Journaling! 

What is junk journaling? It's a book, sometimes handmade, crafted from recycled, repurposed, or overlooked materials like old book pages, envelopes, maps, and packaging. They're used for memory keeping, art, or daily reflection, they embrace imperfection, with no strict "rules" beyond creativity. Common techniques include collage, sewing signatures, and layering ephemera.

Notebooks and other various paper materials will be provided, but participants are also encouraged to bring items of their own to use in their journals.
