Peaks & Pieces Quilt Guild 26th Annual Quilt Show

The Peaks & Pieces Annual Quilt Show is back!

Visit during the Bedford Central Library's regular hours July 12th - July 22nd to view this display of beautiful quilts in a wide variety of styles and sizes-- including contemporary, traditional, and art quilts.

Visitors are invited to vote for their favorites!

Tickets will be available for purchase for this year's raffle quilt (pictured to the left) titled “Sugar Baby”.  This 96” x 96” generous Queen-sized quilt is a modern rendition of the traditional Bear Paw Block, with elongated “claws” constructed using half rectangle-triangles.  The “palm” of each bear’s paw is a pieced, traditional block. The pattern is by Melanie Traylor or Southern Charm Quilts; longarm quilter Renae Bauchou of Freshly Quilted completed the quilt with a lovely, all-over feather design. Fabrics are from Poppie Cotton’s “Songbird Serenade” collection (fabrics can be seen here:https://poppiecotton.com/product-category/fabric/songbird-serenade-fabric/) and feature floral and bird prints in yellow, pink, blue, coral and green.

Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5.  Raffle tickets can be purchased from guild members until December 12, 2023.
