Join us at the Bedford Central Library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens. 

This month we will be watching the classic film Bye Bye Birdie which will be turning 60 this year!  The film is based on Michael Stewart's book of the 1960 musical of the same name and stars Dick Van Dyke, Janet Leigh, Ann-Margret, Maureen Stapleton, Bobby Rydell, and more!

Plot: A small-town high-school girl is chosen from legions of fans to give one last kiss to an Elvis Presley-type rock star before he goes into the Armed Services, and a frustrated tunesmith hopes to capitalize on the stunt by penning the singer's swan song.
