STEAM Club: Sounds of the Seasons Edition

Following the lovey-dovey-ness of Valentine’s Day, while our hearts are still pitter-pattering, we’ll make rainsticks using very simple materials! We will talk a bit about the science of sound, and explore different methods of loading our cardboard tubes, such that the resulting noise best emulates rain. 

We will also talk about the indigenous cultural origins of rainsticks, and also the meditative qualities of sound.
