STEAM Club: Sounds of the Seasons Edition

Following the lovey-dovey-ness of Valentine’s Day, while our hearts are still pitter-pattering, we'll make Rainsticks using simple materials!

We'll also learn a bit about the science of sound, and explore different methods of loading our cardboard tubes (with aluminum foil, pipe cleaners, etc) before loading the beans and rice, etc., such that the resulting noise best emulates rain. Discover the indigenous cultural origins of rainsticks; and the meditative qualities of sound.
