Event Details

Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to jump into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) with us on the 1st Tuesday of every month!  We will use items from our Amazement Square STEAM cart each month to explore a different theme/skill with different age-appropriate activities for children ages 3-5 and those ages 6-10. 

This month's theme is CLOUDS!  Have you ever looked up and thought, what kind of cloud is that?!  Special guest, Thomas Battle, ABC 13 Good Morning Virginia Meteorologist, will be joining us to talk about clouds. We will hear all about cloud types and what kind of weather they bring. Thomas will also be joining us for a group cloud experiment and answering any cloud questions. You'll also get to make a cloud viewer and engage in some fun hands-on activities.
