Event Details

 Members of the Bedford Area Master Gardeners will be joining us this month for a workshop on growing and maintaining Fruit Trees!  This workshop will focus on fruits that grow best locally and specifically on Apple Trees. 

Learn about the dos and don'ts of pruning, dealing with diseases, fungi, and more.

Gross' Orchard will be providing several different varieties of apples for participants to taste test including Gala, Golden, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji, Winesap, Rome, Arkansas Black, Pippin, and more!  ***Varieties are subject to change and availability.***  The Master Gardeners will discuss what apples are best for different applications (eating, baking, etc.)

Participants are encouraged to bring an apple recipe to share with the group.

Registration is REQUIRED and the program will be cancelled if a minimum registration of 5 people is not met.
