Children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade are invited to join us each month as we explore the wonderful world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)!  Each month, there will be a new topic.

This month's topic - Test Your Foods for Starch
Have you ever heard about starchy and non-starchy foods? What is the difference? There is a simple chemical test that you can do to detect starch, which involves an iodine solution. The iodine solution turns any food that contains starch dark blue.
